The Dickens Inn Wedding – Pre-Wedding Photoshoot sets the Tone

I first met Stephen & Antonio at their picturesque wedding venue, ‘The Dickens Inn’ at Tower Bridge, for a charming engagement photo shoot. It was an absolute pleasure to meet this warm, lively couple. We instantly hit it off, bonding over their vision for their big day and capturing a few lovely engagement portraits around the iconic London scenery.

Defining Their Wedding Photography Style

Stephen & Antonio have an undeniably relaxed, fun-loving manner about them. They were clear that they wanted a wedding celebration that truly reflected their unique personalities and love story. As we discussed photography styles, they enthusiastically opted for my candid, documentary approach. This would allow me to genuinely capture the organic moments and emotions throughout their day. Additionally, they loved the idea of taking advantage of the breathtaking Tower Bridge backdrop for some classic newlywed portraits, as well as organizing a few traditional formal shots with their wedding party.

Adding the Photo Booth Factor

To make their reception even more memorable, they decided to book my wildly popular photo booth service – a perfect choice for this festive duo! Little did I know their guests would take to it with such enthusiasm.

The Big Day: Laughter, Tears, and Joy

When the big day finally arrived, the heartfelt speeches had everyone laughing through happy tears. Stephen’s university mates regaled us with hilarious tales from their glory days. Meanwhile, Antonio’s family members, who traveled all the way from Spain, shared loving well-wishes and relationship advice in both English and Spanish. You could feel the affection and joy radiating from every word.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Of all the people we worked with for the wedding, the most pleasant experience by far was working with Michael on the photography. He was friendly, communicative and had a real passion for what he did. I look forward to using him for my next wedding 😉 Pro tip: Take Michael’s photo booth offer as well as the standard package. It was great fun and resulted in some great pictures. – Stephen, Sept 2019

Dance Floor Mayhem and Photo Booth Hijinks

As the evening progressed, the dance floor erupted, and the photo booth quickly became the place to be. Guests cheerfully lined up for their turns, donning wigs, masks, and other props for silly snapshots they’ll cherish for years. Everyone, from classic pouts to ridiculous faces, let loose with abandon. Even the stately grandparents got into the spirit, cracking up the whole room with their outfit swaps and improvised dance moves. It was a hilarious display of uninhibited revelry.

A Celebration of Love and Laughter

Stephen and Antonio’s incredible energy and zest for life created an atmosphere of pure celebration. From touching personal moments to dancefloor delirium, their unique London wedding at The Dickens Inn was a beautifully authentic representation of their love story. And I felt truly privileged to document it all through my lens – the tears, the laughter, the cherished memories unfolding.
